The current desktop app and product screenshots use a Chinese interface. The website and these guides are available in English; existing audio samples retain their original languages.

Installation and system requirements

Light mode needs at least 8 GB RAM; standard, character and reference modes need at least 16 GB, subject to the app’s compatibility checks.
On Mac, drag Shengyue into Applications before opening it. The current build is not Apple-notarized; first launch may require confirmation in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
Intel Mac and Windows builds use CPU inference without CUDA. Full functionality still awaits acceptance testing on those platforms. Linux and Windows ARM are not supported.
Fixed test samples check compatibility and cannot use editable scripts or export customer work. Website audio samples are available to listen to directly.

Purchasing and activation

Purchase through the seller that supplied the software. Send the device code shown in the app and your order details to receive a device-bound SY2 activation code, then paste it into the app. License verification works offline. Price, device count, updates and transfer terms depend on your purchase agreement; contact the original seller for replacement codes or device changes. Email freeteamlite@gmail.com with purchase, activation or transfer questions. This website does not currently provide online checkout.

Installer verification and CLI documentation

Calculate a downloaded installer’s SHA-256 checksum with your system tools and compare it with this page or the checksum list. The installer includes the CLI; no separate Node.js installation is required.
